ok just fitted the btb and also changed to a standard middle box

goes for first drive and it seems like either the cars missing at certain revs
or im getting serious amounts of back pressure
as engines popping and farting at around 5k 8O

anyone got any ideas???
deffo feels like theres more power since its fitted but also the above problem which was never there before

middle section is almost new so its not that and was fine before the manifold went on

someone help

Is this the new BTB or the old one?

Check your connection to the coil and also your HT leads.

What about the idle adjust screw on the new TB ? maybe too much/too little air going in?

no worries fella

it does get bloody confusing at times
what with bbtb/btb/icv/afm etc etc :D
had a feeling it was a lead as nothing else made sense
plus i remember having to tug on a lead a bit when removing em :?

my fault shouldnt be so heavy handed

anyway even with a cylinder down the drive home last nite was fun
deffo feel the difference in the car
picks up better than it did before and seems to pull harder to the line
and sounds superb :D

off out to play in a bit and have a proper test drive
then will give a more educated oppinion on the btb
failing that sunday at the pod should provide some solid proof of its benefits and i should increase my times a bit i hope :D
