i need to change the bulb in my drivers side front fog light, but for the life of me i carn't get the bloody thing out to get at the bulb. I have taken out the 2 screws that hold the plastic surround on and removed that, taken out the other 2 screws either side of the fog but it wont come out! am i doing something wrong, thought this would be a vert easy thing to do, a 10min job if that. Am i being a complete donut or what!? :?

this could be very embarising so go easy guys!

cheers

All you need to do is removed the rectangular surround, if the light is stuck give it a gentle wiggle and it should come out!

Take out the rubber plug in the middle of the glass, unscrew the screw behind it, pull the light forwards and out of a ball joint on the other side. Unscrew the two screws on the bulb cover and change bulb.
Yes, it should be a ten minute job!

Think Brian was refering to the later style foglights, I assumed you have a 1984 car? In which case they are rectangular and will simply pull out as I said before. Good luck!

Then take the surround off and give it a wiggle, its probably so corroded that it will need a bit more persuasion than usual.
