I have a cool 1/24 scale M3 model (As close as I'll ever come to owning a real one!!!).I'm gonna have a crack at making it soon. I'm very festidious about these things and what it to look cool.
Bearing in mind it has chrome-ish bbs alloys, what colour would be the best for it?
I intend on actually purchasing a tin of the preferred spray to spray it with!!
Quite like Diamond Schwartz, as that's the colour of my cabby. Seen some nice red examples but am not convinced yet.
If you M3 owners or people with M3 piccies, could post your preference with pics, that would help.
Thanks guys!!!

I gotta agree, the red looks best IMHO.
But they are all lush..

for paiting a model car, using a spraycan of the actual colour, go for a flat colour. the metal particles in the paint are too big to look right on a scale model.
tbh, my prefered colour would be black, but they look pretty FG in every colour.
if i was building a model i'd paint it red, because my m3 is red (zinnobar)

Looking at using original paint.... Did consider the metal flake problem....
It does look FG in any colour. Red is swinging me. The only problem is flat colour won't detract from the fact it's a plastic model. I was thinking that Metallic colour would give the correct illusion.
I'd like black but black would hide lots of the detail. Red is looking the best option right now!!!
