has anyone used Amazing Glaze
AG5 paint sealant?

allegedly this is the glaze that the dealers use (BMW Porsche etc etc) and if they apply it you get a 5 year warranty?

i reckon its probably one of those "paint protection" programmes where all they do is ploish it with some glazing polish and thats it, oh and you get ur windows etched and some fabric protector put on the carpets. and you get charged Ԛ£300 - Ԛ£400 for the privelidge? correct me if im wrong

I spoke to my painter and he said none of them work. Modern paints all include paint protection anyway and if your car is old, you'd be much better off spending the money on a roduct like Zaino or Maguire's and doing the job yourself. 8)

thanks bootyman - I was going to do it myself anyway, but wondering if anyone has applied this as the final coat?

you can buy just the glaze from the distributor y'see

Its the crap like Permaguard etc.


Its for the lazy people who do not know or care about detailing IMO.


In order to keep the paint in tip top condition, you have to polish, glaze, seal and then wax.
