neither really, they arent exactly the prettiest things but they are practical, stops your car getting spattered in mud, remember to keep behind them clean though as they can be rust traps

I have them on my white 318is, For this fact alone they have to be cool!

I also think that cars with mud flaps seem to have arches etc that are in better condition. Just from my E30 experiences.

Of course if the car is well looked after then arches are always cleaned etc.

they look good, just have to keep them clean as they can trap dirt which could lead to the e30' biggest enemy.....rusty arches!

Both my first 320i and my present 325iSE had them on when I bought them. I like them as they're good quality, nice and sturdy (not at all turdy :) and keep the sills relatively clean. Plus, gives the car that caring owner look...which is cool.

I used to have a set on my car. Some Zoners consider them to be :gay:

I would not recommend them unless they are original and don't put them on a lowered car, not in London anyway.

Rally cars have them - why do people think they're gay?!

retro in a rally car kind of way but mine had to come off, whilst it can be original the car will never look slick with them on.

I you want to increase the opportunity to make your E30 rot away before your very eyes, then fit some...your arches will love you for it :?

I prefer the look without but it's personal choice really, but definitely not "cool"

Must be the exception, as my arches have never rotted in all 11 years of ownership :D

Mine came with them fitted, took em off and cried at the rust.

Removed the rust and sorted the paintwork - then decided it looked worse without them, plus i got sick of the crap being thrown up by the wheels :? refitted the rears with new stainless fittings and cut most of the fronts away so they just created a protective edge on the arch

This is on a lowered white tourer on ET13 rims, think its chunky look and the black/white contrast i like

Uncool? who gives a feck :flipbird:

mine's 22 years old and has the original flaps on, not one bit of rust anywhere.
