idleing problem on my 318is

just fitted an induction kit strarted the engine... no problems
gave it a couple of blips on the throttle... no problem

then all of a sudden it started idlein at 3k i took it for a drive to see if it wud sort itself out but still idlein at 3k

cud the induction kit be coursing this?

cant really see why the ind kit would do this??

have you reconnected all the plugs to afm etc??

check all the hoses around the inlet manifold etc as these are common problems
as theyre so close to the heat all the time

when i rebuilt the Is i had i ended up changing all the hoses as they were shagged

also have you tried putting the old airbox and filter back on to see if it stops the prob??

as Brianmoor would say always check the last bits you meddled with first

problem now solved, a rubber bit on the throttle cable had snapped and was stopping the cable from fully releasing... it would make sense if u could see it lol
