I've got MB Quart components in my chariot, pleased with the sound quality. Got them from www.caraudiodirect.com

got some alpine SPR136-A - mid range goes in the kick plate, with the cross-over unit in there too. tweeters on top of the dash - no cutting needed.
Massive improvement in clarity over previous (pioneer) speakers, presumably origninal fit.
Replaced the rears with some Kenwood dual-cone I got off e-Bay, plus a kenwood amp also off e-bay

Put the Alpines in the front of mine too, sited the tweeters on the door mirror covers directed towards the driver. Also very pleased with the sound of them. Using Alpine SPR694A in the rear shelf (at some time in the past someone upgrade to 6 x 9) and equally pleased with those.
Using an Alpine MRV-F340 (4/3/2 channel) amp to power them

Goes ok!
