bought an 320i yesterday and im wondering if anybody knows what colour lazurblau-metallic is translated to english ?

Lasers's an acronym, so I'd say it doesn't translate. Wonder if it's anything to do with azur / blue etc.?

I was going to rubbish Chris's idea as utter madness, looking for meaning where there is none, but....

HOWEVER, this lazuli stone blue is a very bright/intense blue, and looking at schueys sig, BMWs lazurblau looks quite dark?

Cmon - look at your average paint colour chart from Dulux or the like; paint manufacturers are the masters at making up ridiculous names!

lazer blue does shine really niceif in good sunlight, lots of purple and deep reddish tint to the paint. but u need a good light

I thought it was turing into quite an interesting discussion. The I stopped and thought about exactly waht it was I was getting excited about. The origins of the name of a bmw paint colour... I think I should get out more.
