I've had another power supply for my laptop fail with dodgy cables, so I'm looking at getting an aftermarket PSU which can also be powered from a 12V cigarette lighter supply. The laptop draws 90W max - is this OK to run from the socket in my Touring or am I asking too much?
Cheers!
Max power from lighter socket?

I use a Ԛ£20 adapter for the laptop and wideband, both run from the fag lighter without issue
my laptop pulls 15V @ 3.3Amps, WB02, 12v @1.5 A iirc.
should be OK dude

Well it is fused @ 30A.
Power = volts * current = 12v * 30 = 360W
I use a 300W inverter in my van/cars with no problems.
