Basically my rear screen wont demist.

I have:

1/ changed the switch
2/ checked both the power supply at the window and
3/ the eath on the other side and
4/ checked continuity on the screen.

All are fine! So how can it not work????

If all the above is true, it is working - on one element across the screen, at least.
Take a voltmeter, connect one wire to earth, and place the other probe on the center of each element wire, half way across the screen. Be careful not to damage the element with the probe tip!
I expect you will read 6V from one element only; the rest will read 0V or 12V.
Next measure at the 1/4 points across the screen, and eventually you will home in on the breaks.
If it's not so bad as to be unrepairable, then the broken tracks can be mended with two pack epoxy silver.

Thanks Brian - thats good advice, I will narrow my search to the suspect wires!

Cheers
