just bought a new bonnet emblem from the local dealer, genuine BMW part etc.
Compared to the original which had lost some of the paint from the white quarters, the new one appears to be just a cheap film pressed onto the metallised plastic centre.
Any ideas if these new style are any better than the older type?

fitted two on my car a few weeks ago, while thay are made of plastic when on they look OK

Replaced mine a while ago and yes the materials have changed but they still look fine.
