Sure i've seen a post or two on here about using the M diff cover to give better cooling or something - also looks a lot nicer!!
Did a quick search but didn't find much info, so who knows - will it definately fit a 3.91 lsd???
What's the part numbers??
Anyone got one lying around??
Cheers,
Rob.

the Z3's and the larger E30's shared the same diffs. well, the housing's anyway, as the ratios were slightly different
and, in answer to your question, yes it will fit. but brand new ones are quite expensive i believe. if you want it, then i'll put it on for you when i swap your diff/g'box/clutch etc

hi guys, yeh thats my diff cover there in that pic.I got told by the dealer " if it doesn't fit you cant bring it back "
I knew fine well it would !
You need the bolts also ,as i found out as the z3 cover is thicker in places than the e30 one.

Better cooling and the bush is stronger/better.It was Ԛ£100 from the stealer plus new gasket,i think they've gone up now though.
cheers
andy

Ԛ£148.66 from the stealer, inc. VAT with trade discount. Longer bolts are definitely required. Alos, does not come with drain plug, fill plug, speed sensor or mounting plate for speed sensor
Bush is stronger.
Lookies like this one
