I have a 1990 325i and well I have disabled the fuel system and I think I had some water drops in the cyclinders when I pulled the plugs so I drained the cooling system changed the plugs and I have been squirting fuel straight in the intake manually and it wont start it sort of tries to fire 1 or 2 cylinders every so often but half a$$ at best. The compression is good its getting fuel(manually from me) it has spark and the timming is good what the heck is going on any ideas I am lost.

Why have you disabled the fuel if you want to start it ?

From what i know you need 3bar pressure of fuel through the injectors to get a good atomised fuel mixture, pouring fuel down the inlet manifold ain't going to work. You have no way of timing the fuel inlet, or the amount going in.

Do a proper job and reconnect the fuel supply, your wasting your time otherwise

I disabled the fuel system cause I thought that it was flooding I really dont know what the crap is wrong with this thing I got it from a guy who said he was driving down the road and it lost power just starting to act like if you ran out of gas bucking a little and when he pressed the throttle nothing no power then the car just wouldnt start after that so he gave it to me for $100 so here I am it has spark and the fuel pump works I havnt really checked anything but plugs and pump I chaecked plugs by pulling them and laying them on the head and turning it over they all fire thought from my experience with chevy 350s it isnt firing the plugs off fast enough I checked the fuel pump by pulling the line off at the fuel rail and it pumps when you turn it over but not when you turn the key to the on position (no primming) any ideas where to start now that I have told you what the problem originally was?

check the air intake, something might have gone into the airbox, its possibility!

Could be a relay, losing power could also be a bad earth!
