Ive just attempted to have my BBS alloys refurbished....

little tip....

1. make sure you have the wheels acid dipped to remove paint ....do not have them shot blasted. After acid dipping , you need to have the wheels sand blasted.
2. if you are contemplating having your wheels powder coated...make sure you find a decent company and second make sure every bit of rust is removed... becuase the powder coating reacts with rust....aparently.
3. pay particular attention to the place on your wheels where the weight balances go... good prep work needed.

as you can see from up above , mine have turned into a nightmare and im having to have the powder coat acid dipped to remove.....and they used the wrong colour...

nothing ever goes to plan for me.
