Getting the boot to stay up?

Anyone advise?

Car is fitted with Mtec1 boot spoiler,boot wont stay up on its own.
Can the spring be tensioned up more to hold the weight?

you can tension the springs up slightly if they havnt already been done, but the best bet is to get the proper springs from the dealers, mine cost about Ԛ£11 when I did them, part No's are
