Struggling to find the part no. for the main dash illumination bulbs.
I now know they're 3 watt but the RealOEM schematic isn't very clear.

That's been superceded though, your dealer will have the right number.
Halfords sell them too although they're Ԛ£1.50 each.
I changed a set a couple of weeks ago for a fellow zoner and was sure there were only 2 of them, the etk says it has 3 ?.
Cheers,

One is just below the clock, and can be changed by removing same. Not quite so easy if you have an OBC!dom-1984-320i wrote:i replaced mine the other day, there is only 2. gotta replace the ones behind my heater controls now....any ideas how easy it is folks?
The other is to the right of the bottom of the heater controls, and angled to the right. Not the easiest to get at, but possible depending on your hand size.

5W bulbs are more easily available, but don't be tempted. They WILL melt the orange plastic domes.

the lights on the right side of the heater controls that have gone on mine, left side is ok, so it is possible to get hand under and find the bulb that way? thought i might have to take the whole controll unit out?
