Here you go lads and lasses, nice to see you all, sorry I slid away at Princetown but steering was getting ropier all the time so quit while I was ahead, roll on new ball joint(s).
Hope we can all do this again soon, great crack even if it was bloody freezing.

Had a brilliant day, definately the best meet I've been too! Was great to see some old faces and also to meet a few new ones too!

Thankfully there wasn't so much as a spit of rain over night after spending all afternoon saturday cleaning, clay baring and waxing!...

Image

I didn't get many pics of the meet, generally because I was too busy talking, but here's the few that I got...

It was great to meet Mike (Steer from the Rear), I nagged him to show me the truth behind his name... this was shortly followed by him jumping in his car and... well...

Image

Better yet, he let me and B19 Harrison have a play too...

Image

We followed this off with a proper nice carvary at the pub in Princetown, then decided to go off and get more photos of the cars as the sun had finally decided to come out to play.

Carl I FAHOOKING love your avatar mate....who is it?

Quality! Tell Charlie if he has any more thoughts about selling / trading the sport I might still consider it! depends on available wedge at the time, but it is my car of choice (as I cant afford an M3)

Forgot to say a big thanks to Mike for organising the meet. Sorry mate! Was really nice talking to your dad too, knows his stuff and has that cracking 323i. Hope we can all do it again soon!!!

Cheers mucker,

Cheers Baz! No idea who she is, but she certainly does it for me!

I'll let Charlie know you're still thinking about it... I know he's not in any great hurry to get rid of it, so I'm sure when he gets round to it, he'll give you first refusal...

It was a great day out guys, thanks to Ecko for sorting me out with my much needed steering rack, you can see from Yaldens mammoth photo collection why so much of my car is knackered :o:
Kinda wish there were less photos of the tourer on the thread tbh, it's hardly the highlight of my car owning career and probably wouldn't have been there at all if I wasn't popping down to see ecko anyway. :o:

Btw good to meet the e30 lot now stick a few faces to names.
Stand out cars for me were ecko's tech-1 (even with bumpstarting efforts lol), the red 318is purely down to the phat rims  , the charged 8 series, Yaldens red e36 (which everyone has seen now lol), and Mike's old mans minty clean 323 8O

Only pics I got which is relevant for here untill I re-size them is

Yep it's all about those rims chap, makes the car imo.

Reckon they would make the tourer look rude even in it's present state lol

benjy, I noticed your has more pull than mine on those straight bits, yours a standard engine isn't it? Was a great day, wish I had taken my sunglasses, was bright in places!

Nice one to Mike for organising again, good turn out I thought. Maybe next time I will actually remember to take my camera and then I'll have some pics too!

hello all. just like to say that was a quality meet. really enjoyed it. even with only 3 hrs sleep!!! nice to see the regular nuttas and to n meet some new ones. highlights for me were the first convoy from the pub to the moor car park. loved it. just the views in the mirrors and peoples reactions to 20+ bmw's convoying n the views in the mirrors were doing it for me. the convoy back to princetown was a little different. i got held up on a narrow bridge by some 36's thinking they were transits n missed playing with mike, carl n charlie at the front. but at least one of my creations was up there avin it for the e30 massive init carl and i bet peoples grandchildren heard stories of how the got overtaken by a load of noisy (especially eko!!) bmws whilst having a nice sunday drive in the country. lol
top day mike. nice one for sorting it out. top venue!!! especially with the drive back following tony's dartmoor beast back to newton!!! i couldn't stop smilin for ages. couple of m50 terrorists init m8.
i'm up for the next one. snow or no snow :woohoo:

Yeah no worries, got some nice ones, gutted to miss the weather and other opportunities. Would love to get the chance for another meet. Weather will be a real issue. Perhaps those cold dry clear January months would be suitable?

Will send pis as soon as I can get near a t'internet connection with my laptop. Unfortunately, can't get it onto the network at work!!!

It's only an M20, but I've kept the original diff, so it's geared very low. Tops out at about 125, but gets there quick enough! I can even sort of keep up with Dave... Until he hits 5th, and then he's gone!
