Just wondering where the best place is in the bulk head to feed the power cable through? apart from rusty holes!!

If you take your glove box and assembly out there is a gromit around there somwhere which i think is easier than trying to go thru the drivers side, if you have to cut the gromit put a small x in it with a stanly blade just big enough for the power cable to go thru and when the cable is secured with pull ties smear a little silicone around the hole to stop unwanted leaks

ps make sure you dont cut or stab any wires :o:

one my previous e30's had amp wiring that went thru the same hole as the headlamp beam adjusting pipes which makes for a shorter cable run but it does seem easier to use the gromit behind the glovebox. depends on how much cable you have really

theres a large'ish gromit just south and a bit right of the battery. I used this one as already there, and runner the power down the drivers side and the phonos down the passenger side of the car. Thats if doing a boot install with battery in engine bay.

i think u might be pushing it as u still have to make it follow the contours of the floorpan upwards under the rear seat. u can feed it thru where the fuel pipe ( inside the car) goes at the bottom of the of where bulkhead meets horizontal bit ( sorry if that makes no sense but u will see what i mean if u have a butchers

Sorry but i dont think that the lead will go down the passenger side if its 2.5m long you might have to buy some more from an audio shop they do it by the meter, if you use your imagination and pretend to run some string along roughly where the lead goes and add a foot or 2 then you will know how much you require

hope this helps

You guys are right. I think I've got just enough to run it down the drivers side, if not I might take that 5m kit off you Sanchez.

Ran the Phonos and remote wire under the carpet when I had that out rewiring my electric ariel, which has since chucked it!!

Cheers Guys.
