i know this has been covered before ive seen teh faq. But wouldnt it make more sense to wet sand the lense before hand so that the paint has more chance of sticking to the plastic? then spray on teh paint and wet sand this and then lacquer the whole lense? i bought some off Adam on here ages ago and after a couple of months all the paint seemed to fade away now they just look like normal lights again

i know what you mean dude, its true, i got a friend to do some for me though practically faded away now..

i remember a dude on ebay who would sand down (including the etched writing) and spray and laquer,, done a very good job, and lasted the whole time, looked very good too.

give it a go mate

i did mine nearly 18 months ago, and they're still red now.

i went to my local paint factors and asked them to mix a little red basecoat into an aerosol of clear laquer.

i used 400 grit dry to give the clusters a key, before masking them up and spraying a few light coats.

ive used the folia-tec stuff before and wasn't impressed with the results- it ran as soon as it hit the lights and faded after a couple of months
