Does anyone know/have the info on the measurements of the lobes on a standard 325i Camshaft please. I have an interesting cam still in a head which I want to try and identify, so first step would be to check it against standard measurements.

Well i think the only thing you could measure
at home which will give any meaningful info would be the lift.

You have a stock cam in your car
measure the lift on that then compare it to the cam in the head.

I have no starter motor (on the engine with the cam in question) so turning the engine will be a hassle, I hoped I would be able to use cross sectional measurements rather than checking the lift on both engines.
