That looks fantastic. I'd have that above an E30 any day of the week! 8)

Used to have a standard 528i on a P plate, one of the first, and I loved that too.

And the winning Bider is ME :D
Have to say its a great example of an e30. Ah but there is some rust 8O
Below the sills just in front of the drainers, well not really rust but bubbles I suppose. And then the tiny ding on the back of the drivers front wing. Plannin on gettin those fixed anyway. by the body shop that'll be spraying the kit thats going on my 316i-lux that'll be for sale. I know ye'll all say, atec 2 kit on a weezy M40 but this lux is sweet lookin. All the little things that go wrong done during the year I've had it. It's suprisngly fast too for some reason. But speaking of surprisingly fast. Foukin hell the iS can move. Down onto the M54, following the 320Ci I came down from Durham in. Nice spin, I was kinda worrying that being in an full M-sport E46 for 3 hours all wrapped in leather, I was thinkin shit the iS mightnt seem great now.
But that changed anyway. The only thing I was worrying about was the timing chain, Its whishing really bad from 3-4K so it was a nice mix of heel and toe dramatics to keep her out of where she gets her kick while under load. It settled down then as we headed for wales. And then Me and Seany( the 320 driver) found the most amazing strech of bends Ive ever been on. It was on the side of a mountain. I was at 60 the whole way thru as the E46 brake lights go on in varying degrees of brightness. winkeye
A Clio 182 wanted to have fun at 1 stage both there was a ghost island ahead so decided against it.
Then I turned off at a wrong turn 4 hollyhead, went on the old road instead of the A55 that Seany took. He was on the biring road anyway. I went along and found this lad walking along the road. so stopped up and asked did ya see anything go by. Answer was nothin in an half hour. I was like FUCK Im lost. but then I said I needed to get the ferry, He said he'd show me the way if I gave hime a spin home, Ya rite, I thought but then he said its on the way about a mile down. less than a minute later and a few coments like "Fucking hell mate this is fast" there it was dropped him off and he pointed me in the right direction. Around an empty roundabout (Either has a diff or Avons are not as good as they seem :D have to get new tyres for the NCT here anway sice there fairly strict, thinkin of Good year eagle F1s on the front anyway) back on to the A55 winkeye.
Arrived on the boat safe n sound anyway with a red E46 parked up above so at least he didnt get lost on me  and then a bit of sleep.
Car is back at home now parked on the drive while making the 316 look very small. Few friends allready saying it'll be the nicest E30 locally even if it doesnt have an M-tec kit which everybody seems to want... Asked a mate that has a Pug GTi what he thought it wold be worth in ireland. He said 6000 euro would be right in his oppinion

I'll have to sort out VRT, full time insurance, nct and tax now and do the chain, might just be not tensioned fully or somethin. Seany thought the head could be cracked since he saw Mayo on the filler cap  but that was just condensaton. Cant wait till she gets back on the black stuff...
By the way Tom could you send me the locking nut key by post cos Ive checked everywhere and no sign of it, I'll need to be able to take them off for the NCT and maybe put steelys on to lower the value of her if the VRT man inspects it.
I'll PM u my address.

A full Polybush Fit thread is on the way. Maybe a Z3 rack conversion in time winkeye and SE side skirts if I can find them sumwhere

Lovely looking motor mate. An E39 Sport has to be one of the best looking BMW's. What colour is yours or is that an individual shade?
