hardtop spraying

how hard is it to take the vinyl off a bmw hardtop and prepare it to be sprayed?

someone told me that if you take the viynl off it makes it weak and can break is this true?

i was thinking of taking the vinyl off and getin it spayed same colour as my car

also haas any one ever taken the bottom lining off or fixed it if it was hanging down a bit?

Bal taking the vinyl off the hardtop is a bit of a job as you will need to be patient and prep it properly (Sanding and maybe filling). Any adhesive that is left over will need to be taken off etc etc.

And no taking the vinyl of does not make it weak and will not cause it to break, however it will decrease the value of it!!

Not sure about the inside lining, see if the stealers do a replacement for it.

the inside linning is fine it just start hanging down after i cleaned it as it had a few hand marks onit came out very clean but started hanging down wil prob need to be glued back on

i getting my whole care repspayed estoril blue so as the hardtop aswel
is there any special stuff you can use to remove the glue?

also any those of you who have done this before did you fill in the roof mounting or have you left them on there
