My car shakes when I let go off the gas particulary in 2nd gear. Any ideas on what might be causing it? I know the mid section of my exhaust is rusty to the point where i can hear it whistle, and the heatshield under my spark plugs has a hole in it. Could any of this be the cause?

If you feel the shaking in lower gears more the others check the "Guibo" on the output shaft of the transmission, or maybe worn CV joints on semi-axes.

i'd check the following:
- guibo coupling (propshaft to gearbox rubber donut) for any splits, cracks or missing / loose bolts
- propshaft centre bearing. a pain to see as it's hidden by the exhaust heatshield
- wheel bolts. loose ones can cause funny noises!
