I'm currently sorting the bodywork out with the expert help of fellow zoner Beardymat and am possibly looking to change the colour when it's resprayed.

She's originally 181/9 diamond black but am considering 299 Techno violet.

What else would you recommend ?

Cheers,

Iain T

I can't say anything against Techno Violet

Though diamond black is nice too.

What colour is the interior?
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

I thought so, from the photo. The first time I saw Techno-violet was on an e36 compact Ti, I thought "lovely colour, pity it doesn't go with the interior" - the interior was grey! Only my opinion like, but I think a deep blue goes better with a light grey interior... maybe as you said, the velvet blue which looks  too

i'm saying that your car obviously looks powerful, due to the paint/wheels etc-it LOOKS like it means BUSINESS.

what i'm advocating is a "talk softly and carry A BIG STICK (well hidden  "

I also have stated your car turns heads dude
