Schrick are good but do the springs and rockers as well if you want to cane it. Also all cams make the car idle more roughly even the 272 and you will lose a little bottom end torque but gain top end power. Ive heard schrick cams are cheaper if bought direct from Germany.

I've used, Kent, Piper and Schrick on customers cars, all much of a muchness in terms of "GO" (like for like lift/duration) you could do a lot worse than try Catcams for a specific grind, only heard good things
Schrick are the only ones to do a kit inc uprated valve springs iirc, so for an all in one order, might be the way ahead
try the zone shop for pricing details, or Call Eddie Kaps @ TeesideAutoTech( google it ) both will be able to offer more info

my old slaag had a piper "fast road" cam in, not sure what duration that was though, but you could feel it keep surging all the way to the limiter and no dodgy/lumpy idle.

I've got a Catcam in my 2.7, cost me about Ԛ£230 for the 273 degree cam and it's fantastic.
I got it from these guys http://www.q-e-p.co.uk/catcams.asp
