Just had this come up on the dash of my old runabout 'anhangerlicht' i know its something 'light' but can somebody tell me what the rest means please?

I think anhanger is german for the towbar .... at least it is in danish.

'to hanger lights' - perhaps the airfield runway lights are out so you can't taxi?
get one of the Stewardesses to look out of the door

It has a removable towbar although not used so i'll have a look and see what the problem is.

it means trailer light. An Anhängerkuplung is a tow bar, so a tow bar light would be Anhängerkuplungslicht.

Its sorted cheers fella's
I changed all 4 legs on it this afternoon and took it for a drive and that light/bong has stopped! Must have been the sight of me with my club hammer that made it start to behave :D
