with my car just sitting on the drive i have finally got the engine sorted and running nicely

however i have a few things i hoped the zone could help with

1st) the drivers side door lock is very temperamental
will lock the the whole car one minute then wont even lock itself the next, any ideas anyone?

2)all the doors are very stiff to open or close, is this just a case of oiling everything up and hoping?

3) want to fit an electric fan with a temp sender rather than on a switch, on my 327 the rad has a plug on the side is this ok to use for the sender unit?

thanks for any and all help
have to admit i'm loving bein back in the world of e30's had nearly forgot hop much fun they were to drive

. the conectors in the door for the cent. locking may be rusting so the connection is only when it gets a tap in the right direction :?

.my back doors oink as i close them, but a regular smothering couldnt hurt

.i remember someone had a volvo fan with an thermostat, was all part and parcel, but i cant remember who it was..was one of the lads from here though

Get some proper grease on those doors, locks, hinges and catches did this ti mine and the difference was huge.
