I have only good words to say about them. Normally very helpful and seem to know what they're talking about.

Richard and Richard (iirc) are very good, and true enthusiasts (although more E21 than E30 hehe)

You can say that about any place though - I seem to remember the argu... discussion over Bexleys.

Richard and Richard are the nicest blokes ever, only had the wheel bearings on the Sport done by them, but no complaints at all.

Cant wait for them to get their RR up and running and with the guy theyve got to do the RR work, it should be all good 8)

The Bexleys head modification is superb!

You will hear good and bad things about all garages. They are all human and you either get a mistake or you get a personality clash with a customer.

The worst thing though is BS. The only issue I have with Fritz is when the younger guy gets on the phone and tells me their manifold gives +20bhp on a 325i.

Even the manufacturer, Larini, say around 5-10bhp.

This is the ONLY issue I have with these guys and it may just be that they are mislead into thinking this.

Other than this they sound like top blokes who are extremely enthuiasitic about older BM's.

They are just down the road from me and I only have good things to say, they've looked at my car a number of times and never charged, always been honest and up front, I've found.

Randomdave now works there too and he really knows his stuff on e30s. They are top blokes, and I will be taking mine there when the RR is up and running too.

Can't comment on the modded head though....just because I dont have any experience (and wont as I have an iS!!!)

Im after a few things from them. Defo getting the six branch manifold, but also want the maga squirt and the modified cylinder head they do (the stage five one). looking for about 250bhp from my 2.7, which they said would be achievable. All i need to do now is find the money.........

Turners,

the 6 branch manifold is pants. You'll hear this from numerous people on the forum.

Megasquirt is available from our own in house tuning guy - Ant.

250 bhp from their 2.7 conversion? We've all heard this one before. It takes major major work to get to 250bhp and that includes going 2.8 with individual throttle bodies and 288/288 Scrick cams.

Not being funny here but I think someone at Fritz is exaggerating to get sales.

You'll probably find that alot of tuning companies actually get the heads sent to companies like in the above link.

Hi

I Know richard at fritz pretty well I even supply them with parts. Very enhuastic and they will look after you but they do liek most buy in/outsoure work (inc heads) and they do have a lot of Self Belief in work. They are also very pro e21's & e24's to point they were nearly anti anything after the e28.

If they are on your door step use them and get them to do all the work so they are responibel for the engien making power and it is not the fualt of the otehr bits/suppliers.

I have the full exhaust from Fritz' Bitz, I've spoken to both Richard's on the phone. The older bloke (I think) seemed particularly helpful. He gave me advice on other parts for my car even though I wasn't buying the parts from him, and so far none of his advice has been a bum steer. Since then I've got a couple of recon bits from them too, no prob's, prompt service and reasonable price. Never met them, but I've no inclination to drive down from Glasgow just for the pleasure... though I wouldn't mind seeing some sun again, one day...
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though
