Hi, my name is Buri. Im 19. Im new on the forum. I bought it a month ago with 216,000kms to make it become a project car. its has a very clean exterior and interior.
It only needs work on the driver seat as when you lean back, it slides out of position. After the seat gets fixed, i want to make it become like the e30 in the 4th picture. So far i have bought it a new pioneer head unit and 2 new rear jvc speakers. What do you guys think of it?

Wow. That looks clean.

You really want to make it look like the Alutech car...? Such a shame to ruin a period looking E30.

Just lower it and get some 15" BBS's on there and you'll have a nice sleeper. 8)

it's rather a rare color... burgundrot... you won't see it very often ;)
but don't ruin this beauty into the alutech kind of cars... a nice neat E30 is as beautiful as it can be... good luck with the project!

Thank you very much guys. I do love the color and i do find it rare. I plan to not change the color at all. I was just thinking of getting that bodykit but sometimes it makes me wonder that it will make it look too rough and overdone. Like you guys said, lowering, bigger wheels will do the job. I love the look of it already but it needs a drop and wheels bad. I wont ruin its originality. Dont worry :) the alutech e30 was just a thought.

i'm glad to see this :) If you would drive a JAP you could place big wings and extreme bodykits, but a bmw is just finished by it's origine... lowering and nice rims will help to impress other people :P

keep us posted mate!

Fortunately, the chrome wheel phenomenom seems restricted to 'rice' (mostly!), and hopefully that's the way it'll stay !!

Im so happy with the warm welcome from everyone. Im glad to join the zone. There's a big passion for e30s on this zone and im planning to do everything to keep my e30 as original as possible. I have a big passion for bmw's as my dad used to own a lot of em in the past ( lot of e36's) :) Im not into big wings or crazy bodykits but i just liked that green e30's front, thats all. I wont do anything crazy moves like that. Im not even sure if i should change the front bumper and the rear bumper. However i dont like the metal bits on the bumper bar and the rear bumper. Which original bodykit do you guys think will suit this e30 the best? I've seen a lot of nice e30s on this zone and it's hard for me to choose :) As wheels, im thinking of the bbs ch wheels and the e46 csl wheels at the moment. I can't think of much at the moment as i want something that not much people have. I love the alpina wheels but i there are too many on the site and im very picky with wheels. Im open to any suggestions so please do :)

By the way, aussies here can not modify cars properly, lol they put crazy wings on stupid cars, put bling on wrong color cars etc. :P I've spent half of my life in turkey and young turks, germans, the uk have so much better taste in tuning and modifying. For egzample aussies spend a lot of cash on their cars and seem to not be able to show where all that money went. I do like the modifying scene here but i prefer europe's anyday :P Im hoping to make my e30 become something very special and neat. With the help of you guys, i hope i get there in the following 6-12 months. :) Peace, Buri

hi there,

your car looks a like mine! same colour, same gold pinstripe, mines 1984 320i tho. Dont mess with it to much its hard to find a good chrome bumper model that is still in one piece. Good luck with the car, treat it right and am sure you will have lots of fun owning it. I have not had the time to take many pics of my car yet but will this weekend and will post them in the photo forum.

i wouldnt call led's jap style as they are on m3's and e46 sedans. i was thinking of the same style lights but with led bulbs. im not sure about changing the body at the moment. i just want to lower the car, get bigger wheels and do an engine swap to make it go quicker. do you guys think it would ruin it if i chucked in a m3 motor in there?
