I have to say I take issue with this My name is Jeffery Fatbastard 111 and I am the club chairman for the Morris Marina owner's club. We find that overall the four door Marina is worth more than a two door because a)the Coupe's lines were compromised by the use of four door front doors and b)the Four door has a wider selection of desirable and rare models such as the TC Jubilee and the 1.8GT.
Mind you, my councours winning Marina 1.8TC Mumford Convertible is a thing of rare beauty and has been independently valued at between Ԛ£5 and Ԛ£10.

i once saw a lad fly out of the side of a poo brown allegro. :D

He was getting in the passenger door and the lad driving decided to yank it in reverse and try and do a J turn on the grass, he pulled off a superb J turn after reversing up at speed and flicking the wheel and pulling the handbrake on, but flung the not quite seated occupant about 20 foot clear of the vehicle. Oh how we laughed :P

Henry just came round with max chav magazine so i flicked through the pages and found this.

UKâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s rarest car
The rarest car on UK roads today isnâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢t a bright red Italian sports number. It is, in fact a 1971 Morris Marina. This survey, conducted by 807,500 Morris Marinaâ┚¬Ã¢”ž¢s built, only 745 remain on the roads. Second on the list was the Ford Cortina, followed by the Renault 18 and Renault 5.

and the pic was of a red coupe with the black vinyl roof, so i bet i now know which mags you buy and dribble over MR E

Dave you executive and fellow ricer !. Alas the U.S turd, probably to allow fat septics to enter, has the seat belt mounted on the door , not the body. The rear pillar on the door is reinforced and about 1" thicker.
I bought a complete door from ebay for Ԛ£9.99 , i thought i was elected until i went to fit the glass GRRRRRRR :x

So basically a U.K and U.S spec glass are similar apart from the length, the U.S one being shorter by an inch.
The chances of finding a yank spec CRX languishing up someones passage are probably zilch . I will give it a week then i will make some enquiries about a new one !

I wonder can toughened glass be cut ?

Someone must be able to do it!

What a pain in the ass. I reckon one of the US boys on the CRX forum could come up trumps on this. But let us know how much it is new to see if it's worth chasing up, god knows how much glass postage would be from the US!

I have a couple of victims lined up at a bag, i have told them i've lent it to a friend for a week :) . Little do they know i am trying to file down an ebay door glass to fit!.
Honda want approx Ԛ£125 for a door glass, bearing in mind i only paid Ԛ£200 for the turd (one lady owner, 56000 miles ice cold a/c !) you can imagine how distraught i am

Obviously if it was something worthless like a similar aged 4 door E30, it would be a no brainer,i would just frag the turd ! :D

Ԛ£200 for a ricer Pete? Could have got a nice 4 door for that. And as you say, they're always being scrapped. Plenty of windows around for them...

I have no shame,i will drive or buy anything. Turning a Ԛ£200 turd into a bag in my pocket sounds like good maths to me ! :)
Even Paul daniels couldn't replicate that trick with a 4 door e30 !! :D

Alas the window is a temporary glitch,as my dad says "Son, if it has tits or wheels it's trouble " :D
