Power steering??

Right, i ain't driven my car for a while (3 weeks). Anyway I got in it last nite and thought that the steering felt quite heavy. But i thought it was cos i wasn't used to it or something. However my mate drove it tonite too and sed it feels like the power steering has gone. he's right too, it does feel like that. For instance if you turn left then you have to correct it back to go straight?

This ain't right. What is it? The pump? The belt?

check first it has enough fluid in it

Yeah, will do in the morning. it did last time i checked but that was a while ago.lol. Will let you know.

mine went like yours
but had been parked several months when it happened

check around the track rods etc and try some wd40 as they may have started to seize up a bit
to get rid of mine i had to change rack but as i said mine had been off the road several months not just a couple weeks hth

Hey, nah my dad has made sure mine is run at least once a week. However its started working again this morning. Going on a longish journey so il see if it does it again. it had a new rack a year ago so it cant be that surely? Im thinking dodgy pump?
