well are you going for? budget? www.mytyres.com will give you some good prices delivered.

i went true budget because i knew the summer and my will to experiment with rear drive i could get through a set quiet fast! :burn:

Ԛ£33 a tyre was my option. :D

toyo proxes t1-r is what you want mate leave the a539's on the shelf. the toyo's seem to grip much better in the wet and have loads of grip in the dry, really puts confidence into the car
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!

Very good tyre (as most Yokos), defenately better than Toyo Proxes T1-R.

i like what you people are saying. i got my budget tyres just to pass until i finished 'messing around' :D

and i can say in the wet i fear all corners! well funny.
still do ok for now.

well, i had the old A509's on me escort, and they were fabulous, but on my bm i have tried the toyo T1~S's and also just to add flavour i tried the uniroyal rainsports. im runnin at 215/40/17, and i found both tyres to be awesome in the dry, and as you would expect in the wet, the uniroyals just had the edge. also got a bit less life out of the toyo's, but they did their job so well it was awesome!

so from me, for this time of year i would recommend the rainsports!
have fun!

Thanks for the advice but too late -i've put some pirellis on (They were cheap).

A lot of places i go to don't stock many 205/55/15 cos its an unpopular size these days. :(
