I always keep the rear seats flat in the touring now!!!!!!!! (although it's mostly to stop the backrest falling off the drivers seat!! I'll get round to putting those recaro's in one day soon!!)

its a real wonder how BMW technicians didn't come up with this 25bhp mod, they must not really know what they are doing!

i bought 4 of em and now my cabby should put out 250bhp :D when installed, once i get my small brake conversion i will buy a few more and reach the 300-350bhp mark, will keep you informed!

a tip for cabby owners... fold the roof down and the car will be lighter, thus faster

The sellers rating is very high though. It must have taken him years to get there and he's about ready to cash in now it seems. I rememebr someone else was selling cooker knobs or what looked like it on ebay a while back. Apparently you fix it in your car and turn the knob for more power and turn it down for less

18p for a resistor! That's the going rate for a strip of ten! 1.8p each.
Looking at the guys feedback though, there's no shortage of stupid people around.

Adding this resistor is the same as having a faulty blue engine temperature sensor. The ECU thinks the engine hasn't fully warmed up so raises the idle speed a little and over fuels the engine to compensate for petrol vapour condensing out on cold metal combustion chambers and cylinder walls.
Most ECUs run the engine on the lean side of the mixture which gives maximum power for reasons of efficiency and emissions, so enriching the mixture a little will give a marginal power increase at the expense of greater fuel consumption, engine wear and oil contamination.
