... steal my 325i last night. Broke the driveres side door look, then tried to the stearing wheel off, and buggered up the ignition barrel. Looks like they gave up cause the stearing wheel was loose, but the bolt was replaced, so was the BMW badge on the steering wheel. Door was nicely locked too.
Arrived at my car and wondered why the hell my lock looks so add.

Bloody cost me 1000 Rand to replace today!

Shame to hear that mate.

Consider in investing in a alarm of some sort. These b4steds will still have an eye out for your car.

got it from a scrappy. How do I get the barrel out of the housing, so that I can replace it in my current housing? The housing I bought from the scrappy doesnt have steering lock, been cut through. Any ideas?

I have a steering lock now, using the OBC immobiliser, and removing the fuel pump relay. Cant afford an alarm at the moment :(
I have the feeling they were wanting my car for a robbery, cops think it was probably for a cash in transit robbery. Exciting, isnt it?

Someone tried, to get into mine, but they decided to wrench the top of the door which left a 2" gap when closed at the top :x but was able to push it back to right shape :D

Thing is, they did open the latches but never opened the doors for some reason or the alarm would of sounded, so i recon they must have been disturb or something.

Still, next time i really hope i catch the uckers and then do some damage to their hands, intailing a bar and the ground
