Any V8 conversion will be a lot of work, and Im not sure if the 3.0 V8 would be worth the hassle. But, it should be easy enough to upgrade to the more worth while 4.4 V8 when funds allow.

probably nikasil but not all the nikasil engines are fooked.
for all the effort involved it only worth doing with the 4.0 or 4.4
