Hi Brain picking time again,I am thinking of changing
my rear shocks as the old girl is sitting a bit low at the back
compared to the front. Is their anything else I should be looking at to change at the same time?I have just replaced the front shocks.
This is not a mod just replacing old parts. Thanks

take a look at ur top mounts cos it may be worthwhile to replace em if they lookin a bit sorry for themselves. just a thought, it could help ur handling perhaps? the general opinion on the zone is that replacing them with e46 convertible items is a good idea. correct me if im wrong but most beemers seem to sort of squat down the back dont they?

If it sitting low it could be the beam mounts or soft springs.

Hi The shocks on the back are original I was just wondering
if it was time for new ones.
The fronts I have just replaced were original.

worn shocks wont make the car sit lower. its not going to hurt putting new shocks if they are worn out.

but it won't be anything to do with the shocks, knackered or otherwise.
