lookin sweet mate, did you have any issues when you split the rims i.e. did you have to balance them when you re-assembled them? did you have to replace the BBS nuts and bolts?

as for a drop i went for 40mm and the car is still drivable, any lower would be difficult as daily driver. if you do want the mtech then as its a four pot you will only be able to put 318is springs/shocks in there as the ''normal'' mtech are designed for six pot and thus they would not lower you car at all!!! (they will drop by 15mm by the way)

this is a 40 mm drop.....

Thanks!

Eun, I send you a PM.

mrLEE30:
Had no problems with the rim's to take them appart or when I fit them back together, For the firts time I did this it worked pretty good.
Yes I had to balance the wheels.
And replaced the bolts (they didn't looked good and I wanted chroom or golf bolts so.) The nuts I used again.

With the M-tech you have a good point, forgot the diffrence betwee, the 4 and 6 pot. 40 mm is the max. I'll do. We will see.

Question the rear shocks are different of a 2 doors and a convertible, yes?

Nice pic and nice car mrLEE30, is nice lowerd but aren't those 16 inch wheels?

Wheels came out awesome but put some real rubber on them so you don't make one a pretzel.

225-50-15 would be perfect for them.

First I'll go for a 40mm lowering on the front and then see for the future.

I like german style, so I'll keep this tyres + don't want to spend cash on wider tyres.
These Pirelli's doing there job very good.

Bought something new from the BMW dealer:

This weekend I'll have lots of fun :?

Had some real fun with the rear window, hope it will last long. :D
Don't want to do it again for a few years.

Then I worked on the rooftop to see what's wrong with it (wont open like it has to open) And foun this

Image

A ledge broken off of this expensive part

Image

But the wheater is good and I want to open my roof electrical, so bought it new:

Image

They don't sell it whitout the motor and microswitches, so that makes it realy expensive but I need it and I prefer new original stuff.
Now it works like it has to work, perfect!

Little update, sold the BBS RS wheels, for a daily drive it's just not working.
Had to clean the wheels 3 times a week and was always afraid to leave the car behind en then find hem back with no more wheels.

So now I put Z1 wheels under the car.

And bought A hardtop for the coming winter.

This is how the car looks like now:
