Re: E30 325i 320i Sport, SE, Electric seat belt clasp
I have seen one of these for sale and would be interested in fitting it to the blue car.
Please can anyone advise what is needed to retro-fit this item on that car.
Obviously, the wiring is needed and there is, apparently, something different about the check panel.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Got it on mine which came from South Africa. It's a red light on the check panel with a seat belt motif that lights up if the ignition is on and the driver's seat belt is not 'plugged in'.
Can't help you with the wiring Nigel since I don't fancy taking mine apart to find out. I've seen a couple of threads about the check panel lights and other functions are on it - might have some success with a search.

NigelA, I've got the circuit diagram for it on page 59 of a 139 page, 15Mb pdf file. Don't know how to send just one page of a pdf, but I can send you the whole thing if you PM me an email adress.

Many thanks, everyone, for your enthusiastic (or something close to it) contributions. Bryan, my email is nda@dsl.pipex.com - and much appreciate your help.
Blue car now fitted with split rims and this makes it look very good, in my opinion.
