Does anyone know if there is a difference between the m20 325 crankshaft fitted to auto's and manuals?
Real OEM indicates that they are the same.
Does anyone who has rebuilt and reassembled a 325 auto know?
Any of you guys breaking 325 autos have a picture of the end of the drive plate ( where the triangular plate bolts on with the 8 bolts ).
Just rebuilt an M20 manual engine to install on an auto box and it looks like there is no hole for the end of the torque converter........HELP????

How to get it out? Pack the space behind it with grease, find a bolt or parallel punch that is a nice snug fit through the hole in the bearing and hammer it. This will act like a piston and hydraulic pressure will force the larger piston (the bearing) out.
