I bet you could - my car came with a brand new gearstick gaiter and I have a receipt from a main dealer to say it was only about a fiver!dobbie82 wrote:silly question but couldnt you buy one from a dealer?

Getting it from a dealer would be a good option as they are very cheap. I have noticed that with a lot of parts for my E30, the dealer is only a few more quid for a brand new one...which I would rather have, as I know the history

Agreed BeemaBoy. Plastic components get brittle with age & use. The clips wouldn't break off a new one for at least a few years.
