Rite, im going to be parting with my baby and need to know what its actually worth. (Depending on my Godmum giving me 1500 for it or not).
1991 H 318is Limited Edition Motorsport (has documentation and plack on dash).
165,000 miles with Full service history
4000 miles since engine was rebuilt using a M44 with only 30k on clock.
Larger throtle body and lightweigh flywheel. It goes as fast as a 2.5 as proven on many meets.
Mechanically sound, not a spot of rust anywhere!!!!
Full Respray last summer.
Full M-tech 2 kit,
15" BBS X-spokes
Recaro's
In very good conditoin throughout as to be expected!!!
Your input would be apprieciated! Thanks

Is'nt the M44 a 1.9?
Mark.
Very nice looking car though tbh
Am i right in saying that it's only got 34k on it? technically speaking mind you, if so then maybe worth a little more than Ԛ£1.5k, just my thoughts.

A friend recently bought a totally original 318iS, H-reg, red, 140K FSH, 1 owner from new (old guy), original paint in very good nick (only the paint on the rubber spoiler and drivers door mirror is cracked), cloth recaro interior, only downside is the 14" BBS x-spokes. Paid less than Ԛ£1000.
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

When the guy(wyldie) who sold me mine advertised it on the zone it was a "limited edition sport IS". I think this just means it came factory fitted with a tec2 kit. Not really limited edition i dont think, just its got the kit from standard.
You should get more than 1500 for it if its the condition and mileage you say.

Hey Fozzy, its been a while!! I forgot about my E30 since i got my MR2 Turbo but been driving it recently and it still makes me smile!! I was going to sell it about 8 months ago but couldn't go through with it!!
The hand book has a little BMW Motorsport Certificate that says Motorspot Limited Edition No.178
There is a Silver Plaque on the dash that says the same but not the number.
Think its basically a 2.5 motorsport with the 1.8 engine so as hammoj28 says its come from the factory fully kitted.
Think i heard they had a load of spare m42's they needed to put somewhere ... lol
Yes it is a 1.9 and was dyno'd at 158 bhp.
Pal318is - the engine has 34k on it although only 2k since it was rebuilt.
Gave it a wash last night and the interior is not only good, its actually totally imaculte
Only did about 1000 miles since the spray job.
Interior is very good, athough the only downside i can find is the drivers seat bolster is starting to show slight wear.
Think i will be more than happy to accept 1500 from my Godmum and it kind of keeps it in the family and in the future she said she'll probably give it back. lol
