Hi guys,
i know a little bit about auto electrics etc, anyway, took a few minutes to locate this problem, after checking radio wiring loom, wiring behind kickpanels etc..

The onboard computer stopped working & the rev counter stopped working.,

was the dome-light/boot light wire in the boot that somehow got caught as i closed the boot, was shorting... so i went thru like 3 fuses, each time i put a fuse in it would pop instantly.

sorted out now,. just thought i'd save someone 5minutes by posting this..

cheers

This fuse blowing is common, not usually like yours where you trapped the wire and caused a permanent short, but, because the wire is bent every time the boot is opened and closed, the insulation cracks, and you get an intermittent short.
