sounds like the glue has been washed off, i am having sort of the same problem with my baurs hardtop (my problem due to age). I was thinking of getting some fabric glue, taking off the fabic and re glueing it back.... PS havent done this and not sure if this is the right thing to do.
You can always take it to a retrimmer to see what they can do, but it will cost.

Just an idea but may not work....you can get scotch bond adhesive especially for glueing headlining/carpets etc...not sure what it is called exactly....but know that is the make...comes in an aerosol can....could then add one of those long applicators you get withWD40....put tiny holes in headlining....spray in glue and stick away!!!!Depends if whole thing has dropped or just in parts?? Not done this so can't vouch for it .... but it may work. BTW have done a complete headlining on an old car I had and its a nightmare to get right....
