The early euro 9.75:1 engine will make a CR of 10.53 with the required block decking and material removed from the skirt to clear the crank ( check !!!! ) its a little high with the fuel of today, certainly require super U/L minimum or timing with a lot of retard, and lower power as a result
the 8.8:1 gives 9.5:1 with the 2.7, more realistic, but argueably easier to live with, and still potent
both CR are way to high to really FI with more than 7.5 psi (imho) CR in the 7.5:1 will have a much higher boost threshold, and ultimately more power, but will need the full monty big turbo, wasted spark and MS( or similar ) to get there, so major Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ investment
I have said from the outset, anyone can go FI for 1.5K, and achieve decent results(240hp ish ), but once the bug bites, and it will, you'll be pulling another Ԛ£4K out , and smiling while you hand it over to your tuner of choice/ parts supplier
