Hi,
i can get this turbo for a reasonable price. Will this be a good choice for low boost (around 6, 7 psi) turbo conversion on M20B25 ? All i want is around 220, 230hp of reliable power without too much lag.
I understand it has a T3 flange, so it will fit a stock 324td or 325td/tds manifold.
KKK K26 and M20B25 ?

its old tech but will work in the 6-7 psi range, anymore and the small turbine wheel will restrict the gassflow cauing backpressure into the cylinders, result ? pinking and det damage.
@ 4.4 psi my car was dynoed @ 209.6lbs ft torque and 214 HP, the torque was flat from 1809rpms to 5250, it made for a very rapid accelerating car, with superb drivavbility and low fuel running costs, I almost regret moving away from the initl setup, as it really was a joy to drive, but R=D needs more info, so the boost goes up in the name of information, all of which is passed back to make the next turbo install, that little bit better.
As I keep saying on here, if you want 250 HP, spec the compononets to that, but be aware there is no room for more boost on the current setup, lower CR and bigger turbos are the only way to more power

Thanks!
That sounds perfect for me. I dont need big power, just a bit more than stock for easier drifting and more smoke
It would be nice to have 300 or even more, but ill rather spend money on suspension and spare tyres
Why did you run only 4.4psi and is that figure WHP or on the flywheel ? How much do you expect i would get on 6 psi ?
What kind of fuel management did you use ? Megasquirt or stock ecu with uprated fuel pressure and bigger injectors ?
What exhaust manifold did you have ? Will 324td / 325tds manifold do the job, i can get them very cheap, almost free.
