before

after

also cleaned out all my arches and undersealed them all
also cleaned and painted some of the suspension componets
so after a wash

front

back

going to paint mt claipers when i change my brakes hoses woth braided hoses
and there is a couple of bits i missed but i ran out of the underseal
also going to paint the diff silver, but cannot find any high temperature silver paint
and one last thing sprayed from fogs [ which i got from yalden cheers mate ] with tinting spray
50/50 at the mo weather i like them or not

for the past month i have had a knock through the steering over bumps
thought it could be either the top mounts, but these was only replaced about 1 1/2 year ago
or thought it could have been the ball joints, but these was replaced about a year ago
turned out to be the intermediate steering shaft

45 minutes later all fixed and now the car feels a lot more direct and postive through the corners
and only cost Ԛ£40, was Ԛ£120 but for some reason was reduced
here is the part number 32 30 6 756 055

I bloody love this!!! My friend has a 328 sport which looks very much the same. I admire the amount of time and work you have spent on it, its gorgeous. Shows you how good an E36 can look when done properly. Fantastic.

thanks everyone
tim yes it was a recall and was done
but i had play in the lower joint
i think you can only get a recall done once
plus it easier for me to replace it then to go for the dealer , leave it there, pop back etc.

Only once on the recall Mike you are right
I had to buy one for my 328 as well
Still looking good mate, don't forget to let us know about the next meet.
Any reason why you are dropping Cheddar after the success of the last one?

looks a lot more O E now, just got to get the headlights adjusted now
beam pattern seem a lot better now, more projected
here you can see the difference
no shroud

You're car looks stunning mate, I think your mods are very tasteful and the car looks brand new. Glad to see you've not gone and got m3 wing mirrors like everyone else, coz it looks cheesy. All you need now is a private plate and people will think its alot newer. Keep us posted with anymore progress.

after hearing a couple of cars with them fitted at the bmw show at santa pod, and hearing a mate dads s2000 with a induction kit on
i needed to get one

pick up is a little better, but you can notice more of a flat spot around 5000rpm
not as load as i though
still it makes the iS sound so much better
