manifold to down pipe gasket

Im about to fit the front section of a 2 piece exhaust onto my 325i tourer . the joining section between the manifold and the down pipe is oval shaped with 4 bolts ,(which is different to all diagrams i have seen can any one tell me if they have the same on there tourer ) any way the gasket does not line up quite correcly with the bolt holes ,is this normal ,do i just ajust the holes a little .thank you

How far are the holes out ?

the two closest together are only a mm or so . the other 2 are both approx 3-4mm out

Not that much then...

I would make all the holes slightly bigger, then that will help in keeping the gasket in the right place.
