Yet again another OBC question

Fitted a OBC today and it all works fine apart from the outside temp reading. I used to have the 6 button computer in my car so I left in the original temp sensor and wires and just connected it to the new wiring loom. Now the computer says that the outside temp is 75.5 C! I know its connected as when disconected it reads -30 C. Do you know if the temp sensors for the 6 button and 13 button computer are the same? Or what else could the problem be? (Couldn't find anything when I did a search)

try a part No serch and see if thay are the same?

Haven't installed my ETK on my new hard drive yet, but this sounds like they are different items.

i am using a temp sensor that came from a 6 button obc on my 13 button with no problems.

i dont think they are expensive new anyway.

As above. Mine works fine..thugh reads in F when I want C!!!! (and MPG!!!)
