Hi all I've just started to dismantle my car to do the gearbox mounts, flexi disc, centre prop bearing and all the rear bushes. My question is do I need to put the vibration damper back on??? I've noticed that some cars do have them and others don't, my reason for asking is I'll also be fitting a B&M short shifter whilst under there and by not refitting it I'll have more room for the shifter linkage. Any help on this one much appreciated :thumb:

My SE has no damper, neither did my sport for that matter and both were fully historied cars, Try it without dude and see how she is.

I wonder if these were retrofitted on some cars to help with minor driveline vibrations?? cant say I have noticed anything bad without on mine though
