LHD is not a issue in such a narrow car.

You'll get used to it within a day or so.

It would ruin the whole feel of the car. A standard rack, different exhaust manifold, less feel in the brakes, etc, etc...

Drive it for a day (if you're a decent driver) and you'll be fine with it.

I saw a Hartge (so I'm lead to believe) converted one at the Yeovil Show.

Hi

Ian of godspeed brakes done it on his m3 rally car, not that tricky most holes are there, rack can be replaced with a e36 one, brake boost link as per the rhd e30 but with all rhd i loses the brake feel.

The manifold is no probblem all birds did was spread it out and pass the coloumn between the down pipes

If i had an e30 m3 i would have to consider RHD as most fun driving i do is on small often single track roads and pulling out past trractors etc on a rhd drive car is tricky enough.

i drive a left hooker. it also has advantages. i get out of the car straight on to the pavement not in to the traffic. i can post a letter without getting out of the car etc etc. get a better view of the pedestrian totty.. and the best bit is it freaks out passengers in the front. they dont like it

Apparently the water in the toilet bowls was found to be cleaner than the ice-cube water.

Plus the milk-shakes, apparently, have a high-proportion of chicken fat.

Chicken Nuggets? Yes, technically chicken, but not necessarily chicken *meat*.

Get back on topic please, folks! The organisation being discussed has a reputation of getting litigious with persons who make unsubstantiated criticisms of their products, however true those criticisms may be!

Personally, I reckon converting an M3 to RHD is pointless and will ruin the originality and value of the car....

The real question is why? If you must have RHD, then stick with an Hartge or Alpina based on a 325 or look at a Z3M coupe cos they are now getting to around the price of a decent E30 M3...

As for the McDs...all urban myths...need some references before those facts become believeable...Most McD branches are franchises so it is the responsibility of the franchisee to maintain hygine...If all those things were true, then I'm sure H&S/Environmental Health would have something to say about it all....
The only true thing that I know of is that the "fries" are made from reconstituted potato mash and dipped in beef tallow for (respectively) texture, colour and flavour.

nothing wrong with macdonalds food.... its 10times better than most 'resteraunts'. i should know, i worked there for 3years. if it isnt the power tripping managers that are making sure that you make everything to a high standard, its the fecking outsiders coming in to check procedures are being followed, and before anyone says 'how the fuck could you work there for 3 years' the kitchen banter was second to none

as for the LHD/RHD i would rather a rhd car, as said, trying to over take stuff on backroads, where i do most of my 'fast road' driving, is hard enough in a rhd car, it would be impossible/suicidal in a lhd car.

and as for this whole 'your ruining the car' lark, who cares, i would rather drive a rhd car, who cares if the brakes are a tiny bit more 'spongy' or the steering has an extra half turn lock to lock. those 2 little things aint going to slow the progress gained by being on the right side of the road for overtaking :)

LHD is not a problem. I live in the middle of the moutains, and love a bit of fast road driving, plenty of good roads to do it on, and I have no idea how it can be suicidal, maybe for a crap driver...

LHD is better than a RHD on a right hand bend as you can see sooner, but then, RHD has the edge on a left hand bend. So it's swings and roundabouts! As for overtaking, you hang back that little more, and in some cases, you can see around the vehicle in front better sometimes, in essence it makes you a better driver, as you think things through more carefully, and don't take any risks.

All said, an E30 M3 was designed and only ever made as a LHD, and that's the way it should stay!

Nothing wrong with LHD and imo it would ruin the feel and, as said before, the originality of the car. Also with the Z3 rack do you still have to manufacture a new manifold??

As for Mac Ds.....I can take them or leave them. Tis nice to have a big tasty when they are on promo though.
